Synopsis: An uplifting show for children aged 3-7, featuring movement, music, bird-song, puppetry and lots of things that spin!
In a cosy nest, two birds look skyward and get ready for their maiden flight. While flying comes easy for Bird, Whirlybird just cant get the hang of it. After many failed attempts, inspiration is found in a very special flying seed...

Synopsis: Pete Fletcher used his fascination with old and new technologies to create a virtual reality film with 3D sound design. Stories from the past and the present merged together in a conversational melting pot as people; tell tales of their experiences, explain how these places have helped shape their lives and given them strength during tough times and remain strong as oak.

The Trace of Words
Synopsis: For World Book Day 2020, Rebecca Ainsworth created a new video installation in response to Rainhill Library visitors' favourite books and texts.
The work contained a soundscape from spoken words and audio recorded from Rainhill Library.

Threads of History
Synopsis: Drawing on the history and landscape of where she grew up, Stephanie Fry created an art installation in response to two forgotten Billinge locations; the cinema that used to be on the site of the library, and the Cold War bunker on Billinge Hill.
The installation used film, photography, collage and audio to weave local memories and stories into the artwork.
