Blue bag

You can put the following items in your blue bag:

• Newspapers
• Magazines
• Junk mail
• Catalogues
• Office paper
• Envelopes

Please do not put the following items in your blue bag; this will contaminate it and it will not be emptied:

• Brown paper (this goes in your green bag)
• Tissue paper can be reused, if it is beyond this, then it will go in your brown bin
• All cardboard brown or white (cardboard goes in your green bag)
• Foil (clean foil goes in your white bag)
• Greeting cards 
• Wrapping paper

Greeting cards and wrapping paper can still be recycled, please have a look at our recycle locator for your nearest drop off point.

If you need to dispose of shredded paper please ensure it is not loose in your blue bag, place it in a clear carrier bag, tie it in a knot and place that bag inside your blue bag.
