Interim authority notice
An interim authority notice can be applied for if a premises licence holder dies, becomes insolvent, or becomes mentally incapacitated. An interim authority notice will allow a premises to trade until the licence can be transferred.
How to apply
To apply for an interim authority notice you will need to complete:
Note: In order to begin the application process you will need your 'online reference number' which can be located on your premises licence, on our public register, or by obtained contacting us.
Before you submit your application, you must also provide the following supporting documentation:
- Evidence that you have the right to work in the UK. This must either be a valid passport or a share code obtainable from the Home Office website.
Once you have completed the application form you will be prompted to pay the application fee:

How long will it take to process
The premises licence will be reinstated from the time a valid interim authority notice is submitted to us and you will have a period of 28 days in which to submit a transfer application.
