Who do we work with to help keep you safe?
At Careline, we work closely with many agencies to promote safety for individuals who wish to remain at home, including:
- Domiciliary care agencies
- Medical services (GPs, district nurses etc)
- Merseyside Police
- Northwest Ambulance Service
- Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service can offer fire safety advice to suit individual needs, including those who have speech difficulties, are hard of hearing or have total hearing loss.
If you need safety advice for yourself, a family member, friend or neighbour, please call 0800 731 5958 (these calls are free from a landline; however you should check with your provider before using a mobile phone).
Be gas safe at home
Especially before the winter months, all gas appliances should be checked to ensure that they are not leaking carbon monoxide. Gas boiler, gas cookers and gas fires should be checked annually and serviced according to the manufacturer's instructions. Find out more about the Gas Safety Register and carbon monoxide poisoning.
