Dementia Awareness Day 2016
A programme of events, performances, art installations and craft stalls from various artist and community groups from across St Helens Borough, raised awareness and understanding of Dementia, and celebrated the lives of those living with Dementia.

Boy Meets Girl
Audiences joined Boy & Girl as they journeyed through the library, experiencing joy, hope and heartbreak as they searched for love. Colourfully created for unusual spaces, this promenade performance utilised wireless headphones, allowing audience to listen to the inner monologues of Boy & Girl. An exciting mix of dance, theatre, and silent disco technology.

The Twits

St Helens Family Art Club
Heart of Glass Family Art Club took over St Helens Central Library for a day in the School Holidays. Activities included creating Roald Dahl themed comic book covers in workshops facilitated by illustrators The Critter Shed.

Continuing St Helens Libraries celebration of the work of Roald Dahl, audiences were invited to St Helens Central Library to watch the classic film, Matilda. The screening was presented in partnership with Heart of Glass, as part of an ongoing series of Reading Hack programming.
