A Place for us to Dream
A Place for us to Dream was created from the photography and soundscapes of women working with Pause St Helens, and was shared to mark International Women's Day 2022. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the women worked with St Helens artists Rebecca Ainsworth and Angela Wilkinson to reduce their feelings of isolation and improve their health and wellbeing, by learning new skills in art, photography and soundscape. The women were also invited to a private sharing of the film on International Women's Day at Wonderland Community Centre, where they celebrated their work and enjoyed massage therapies.
Artist/Company: Pause St Helens, Rebecca Ainsworth, Angela Wilkinson
Location: Online, Wonderland Community Centre.
Dates: 8th March 2022
Other Information: Produced in partnership with Pause National. View the film
