Parks For Life
Parks For Life is a project aimed at highlighting the benefits of walking and encouraging the use of St Helens' parks.
It highlights the health benefits of walking - and how a simple, free and effective exercise can have a big impact on your wellbeing, as you increase your activity levels and take in fresh air.
You can make your mark in the park by using any of the measured walking routes laid out in Mesnes Park and Taylor Park.
The markers found in the two parks can be used for walking, or even jogging and running if you feel more active. The routes are measured at different lengths, depending on how far you want to walk.
There are 100-metre markers placed around the route, so you can join or finish the route at any point and still work out the distance you have walked.
