Parks and open spaces

We are responsible for the provision, management and maintenance of over 720 hectares of public parks and green spaces.

With a lot to offer, from leisurely walks with our families, friends and dogs, in many of our formal and country parks, running and cycling paths for those who have more energy to burn off! Childrens play areas to let the kids run off some steam, outdoor gyms and sports areas to keep you fit, something for everyone to enjoy at any time of the day all year round.

Parks management staff are based at Hardshaw Brook Depot, Parr Street, St Helens, Merseyside, WA9 1JR.

The Ranger service operates from four main parks:

• Taylor Park, Grosvenor Road, West Park
