Willow Park
Willow Park, formally part of the Legh family estates, is located within the conservation area of Newton-le-Willows.
The park has a network of tree-lined footpaths, with grass areas and a children's play area. There are a number of habitats made up of woodland, amenity grassland and wetland over an area of six hectares.
The lake, which is not a council asset, draws numerous wild birds and wildfowl, including mistle thrush, goldcrest, coal tit, blackbird, wood pigeon, song thrush, moorhen, teal, coot, gadwall, grey heron and little grebe.
The park is also part of the Newton Heritage Trail.
